On April 11th, New Era's Renterz with Benefit$ Street Team will be connecting with renters all over Boulder to make sure they know about possible energy upgrades that could be coming their way. It's called the SmartRegs appendix. This policy would require landlords to make simple updates to properties. Some potential upgrades could be energy saving appliances, programmable thermostats, and sealing windows and doors with new insulation. The SmartRegs Policy would be among the first of its kind to be implemented. Frankly, we think it is about time. Renters deserve a place to live that is comfortable and good for the environment.

Please join our Renterz with Benefit$ Street Team for our April 11th Express Bus Trip Extravaganza. We will be going to the University Hill and the Goss/Grove area to inform renters about possible changes coming to an city near them. We will be collecting post cards of support and filming personal rental stories. The more people that know about this policy the better.
