  • Intern with New Era

    This isn't your average internship. You won't be fetching coffee or alphabetizing any files. We've got two internships: The Organizing Internship, which focuses on grassroots organizing, and the New Era Media Internship, which publishes New Era News, a political news blog.  ::intern::

  • Get on the Bus

    Get on the New Era Bus and create a more hands-on democracy with us by talking to voters face-to-face about the issues and candidates that matter. ::volunteer::

  • Voter Registration

    Voting: the gateway drug to politics. You can't complain if you don't vote. And you can't vote if you ain't registered. Help us register another 10,000 young voters across Colorado in 2010. ::volunteer::

  • Lobbying & Legislative Work

    Because it doesn't stop at voting and lobbying isn't slimy when it's in the public interest. Help us draft, lobby, and pass real legislation that impacts the real issues of our generation: energy, more accessible elections, equal rights, education, and mud wrestling... ::volunteer::

  • High School Engagement Program

    Do you miss high school? Yeah, neither do we, but be part of our high school program to register first-time voters, set up student groups at schools around the state, and teach classes on how the legislative process works. ::volunteer::

  • Happy Hours

    This isn't a volunteer opportunity as much as a weekly plotting and scheming session amongst like minded brilliant people such as yourself. Remember, great ideas for changing the world can come from sharing a few ales with some smart, innovative friends. ::volunteer::

  • New Era Student Groups on Campus

    Organizing the student folk. Be a student intern and plan events, campaigns, registration drives on campuses around Colorado. ::volunteer::

  • Parties/Concerts

    Partying with a purpose. Spreading a message to the masses is way easier over delicious food, beer, or a good concert. We do it small and large--you can help organize a benefit concert or just host a small house party. ::volunteer::

  • Voter Education & Outreach

    Want to get your hands dirtier than just registering people? We've got a place for you. Help us educate young voters on the issues and candidates by making voter guides, throwing events and debates like "Meet The Candidates", online organizing, and whatever else. ::volunteer::

  • Media Campaigns

    Whether you do website design, graphic design, video, or act, we can use you. Help out with our viral video campaigns, make our website more interactive, or help build our brand. ::volunteer::
